I finally have a blog.
This is my way of learning new ways to use and keep up with information literacy and new technologies.
I am fortunate to work with a collegue and blogger (moonflowerdragon) who is a master at using and teaching me about information literacy and technoligies.
She has started by challenging me to do as many of the 23 things that I need to know to keep me intouch and up to date with new information literacy challenges and technology.

1.23 things is definitely all about self directed learning For me it is about trying to find my way around in unfamiliar programs. This will take me a while to complete due to time restraints and lack of the new language that comes with new technologies.

As I watched this I felt it was there to motivate people who are not self directed learners.
3. I have set up this blog but I need to investigate blogs and find out more about them. I can see the benefits of blogging and how much you can learn from fellow bloggers. I have also set up a faceboook page.It's fairly blank at the moment because I am unsure of how much information I want to put on it.
